Trip Planning Soon...

I'm testing a new version that has much faster & better integrated google maps, and Trip Planning and some other fixes (such as using the Number Keyboard for stop IDs). This will require the new iPhone 3.0 software, but will work on any of the 3 generations of iPhones and iPod touches.

Awesome. This application rocks, and integrating trip planning will only make it better.

I do have one suggestion: When I tap on a bookmark, it always takes a second or two before the times are shown (understandable). However, there is no visual feedback that the tap has registered. Would it be possible to show the tap is registered instantly (e.g. highlight the button)? That way I don't try to tap more than once or think the app is frozen. (Another alternative: flip over to the results screen immediately with a "Loading..." message.)

Thanks for the feedback - glad you like the application. I'm confused, as I thought the bookmarks already show they are selected immediately by turning blue? Doesn't that happen?

I thought google maps licencing didn't allow use of their maps in apps. I know seabusmap, the Seattle equivalent, has gone to extensive lengths to create his own map. Perhaps you are exempted because it is a free program. See his comments at http://seabusmap.uservoice.com/pages/8296-general/suggestions/88471-use-google-maps-as-a-map-feed-

Their terms and conditions do say it must be free and unrestricted to use their maps. (This was one advantage to being a free application!).

The latest iPhone SDK allows you to embed the actual google map application in an application which is even better and pretty amazing - this is also going to be coming very soon.
