You basically tell Safari to open a web page that starts with maps.google.com, then safari opens a Google map. It is pretty lame, but this is the way to do it (or was with the 2.2 SDK). I will take a look to see if I can improve it.
- It says "location" as I could not consistently get it to work with any other text.

BTW - this exactly how it used to work before integrating the maps into the app. I could work on the "location" text to try to get it to work.Teleportaloohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06141754614900007064noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7108529826546043302.post-46607254846644093292009-09-21T20:16:48.323-07:002009-09-21T20:16:48.323-07:00Funny behaviour when I try to look at a stop in th...Funny behaviour when I try to look at a stop in the Map application. Instead of going right to the map program, it looks like you're launching a web broswer windows first, which in turn launches map.

Somewhere the stop name gets lost, so the stop is simply named "location" when it finally does open in Map application.Lee David Rimarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16766784819506733864noreply@blogger.com
